Overview

The fade master course has been specifically designed to develop your practical skills to an advanced level. This course is suitable for prior learners/hairdressers and learners who have successfully completed a level 2 certificate in barbering. You will also develop a knowledge and understanding of the practical skills learned throughout this workshop.  The purpose of this workshop is to develop your practical skills to a high level of occupational ability to enable you to perform your own salon services.

This course shows you how to fade from the basic classic barbering techniques, to the advanced skin fades using our range of techniques, It includes a mannequin head, demonstrations, in-house video and is hands-on. Fade Master is perfect for advanced barbers and hairstylists. It will teach you a variety of excellent fading and blending techniques. This can also be run as a longer course if extra training is required.

Course structure:

We teach you a variety of techniques. You will be introduced to all tools of the trade, how to properly hold each and to use them.  You will practice these techniques hands-on, on real clients.

With each service, you have our tutor at your side giving direct feedback and support. We also use tutor demonstrations to give you the opportunity to watch the Barber and ask questions throughout the service. You also progress to focusing on refining and finishing techniques. Here we teach you drying, styling, and finishing techniques.

• Cutting techniques – classic and creative
• Scissor work – scissor over comb, texturising,
• Clipper work –  clipper over comb
• Fading– zero-fades, 1-fades, 1.5-fades
• skin fades
