Overview
The hairdresser to barber course that has been specifically designed to develop your practical skills to an advanced level through a variety of techniques in the following units; creatively cutting men’s hair and the intricate specialist work of cutting facial hair. This course is suitable to prior learners such as hairdressers and junior hairdressers who wish to develop their existing skills to a high level of occupational ability to enable you to perform your own salon services.
Over the duration of 5 weeks we guide you so that you graduate at an advanced level .The main topics covered include health & safety client consultation, scissor cuts, Disconnected cuts,skin fading, designing & shaping facial hair. You will work on a mannequin head for the first half of your class and a live client on the second half every week learning something new.
Our school offers hands-on practical training. This means you won’t be spending all your time in books studying theory. Our tutors will be at your side at all times to supervise, build confidence, progress your skill level and deliver exceptional results. We teach students of all ages and both genders.
you will practice these techniques hands-on, on real clients. With each service you have our tutor at your side giving direct feedback and support. We also use tutor demonstrations to give you the opportunity to watch the Barber and ask questions throughout the service. You next progress to focusing on refining and finishing techniques. Here we teach you drying, styling, and finishing techniques. throughout your course you will be assessed on your haircuts to be completed to a high standard,By the end of the course you will be confident after completing a variety of haircuts
